Markette Sheppard is an Emmy‑award winning broadcast journalist, media executive, and bestselling children’s author known for her ability to build compelling media platforms and connect deeply with audiences. With a foundation in television hosting and storytelling, Sheppard has led major programming initiatives, creating original content that drives audience engagement and revenue growth while advancing mission‑driven communication strategies.
Sheppard earned her Master of Arts in Interactive Journalism from American University and holds a BA in Communications and French from California State University Dominguez Hills — where she was recognized with a scholarship for excellence in student journalism.
