Shaun Bemis- Veteran, innovator, serial entrepreneur

Shaun Bemis joined the Navy right after September 11th and spent the next two decades in service. He saw combat in Iraq and East Africa and operated everywhere from ships to intelligence centers. The military taught him how to lead under pressure, build systems in unpredictable environments, and focus on what matters when everything is on the line.

After transitioning out of the military, Shaun brought that same mindset into startups and executive leadership. He has helped brands scale, coached youth sports, and worked across travel, wellness, and e-commerce industries. Today, he serves as a Fractional COO for companies that need to stop spinning their wheels and start executing.

An ultramarathon runner, Shaun believes endurance sports are the perfect training ground for leadership and resilience. His last race was a 75k trail run on Mt. Kilimanjaro. His next challenge? An Ironman—his first triathlon—despite not owning a bike or swimming the crawl well. He’s taking it on with Team RWB to raise money in support of veterans.

Whether speaking about building stronger teams, leading through burnout, or creating systems that actually work, Shaun delivers real-world lessons drawn from combat zones, business operations, and endurance sports. He brings energy, perspective, and actionable insights that audiences remember long after the event ends.
